Cherwell Runners & Joggers were formed in 1990, and our aim is to encourage runners of all abilities to enjoy the sport.


We are closely associated with Team Cherwell Triathlon Club and many of our runners are also members of Team Cherwell. There is a wealth of athletic experience within the Club and this is willingly passed on to newcomers.


The Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm at the Woodgreen Leisure Centre in Banbury. We compete in road and XC races not only locally but nationally as well. Each year we stage a 6 mile road race at Hornton, which is approximately 5 miles north of Banbury.
